As summer waves goodbye, we’re still riding the high tide of excitement with our thrilling lake training weekends!
🚀 A Slightly Late Start, but Totally Worth It!
The weekend of September 13/14 kicked off with a bit of a hiccup. Our team hit a snag at the shop due to a gigantic delivery of shiny new gear that needed unpacking, checking, and loading into the vans. But hey, a little delay just means we were extra pumped for the weekend’s escapades!
🏊♂️ Welcome to Gildenburgh Water!
After a slightly tardy arrival at Gildenburgh Water, we got the ball rolling with check-ins, gear assignments, and a quick briefing on what was in store for the weekend. With a mix of PADI Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, and Divemaster courses on the agenda, excitement was in the air!
🎉 Milestone Moments!
Our Open Water students dove straight into their first underwater adventure, while a young superstar completed his Junior Scuba Diver course! Big high-fives to Michael for his hard work and dedication—he’s just kicked off his journey, and we can’t wait to see him soar to new heights (or depths) with further certifications!
🧊 Drysuit Diving Delight!
Next up, Tom tackled his Advanced Open Water course with his very first dive in a drysuit—talk about a cool experience! He practiced buoyancy and hovering skills like a pro, staying dry and toasty warm. What a champ!
😴 Time to Recharge!
With Saturday’s dives logged, we headed home for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. We had already completed three diver courses, and we can’t wait to see where our newly certified friends will explore next!
🌅 Sunday Funday!
Sunday brought an early start for our team—Ben, Pat, Karl, and Nathan were ready to rock! They set up early and dove headfirst into the remaining training dives. Before long, we had a fresh batch of Open Water and Advanced Open Water divers, all shining bright in the lake’s improving conditions as autumn approached.
🛟 Rescue Skills in Action!
The fun wasn’t over yet! We squeezed in some crucial rescue skills training for Nathan, a must-have for any divemaster. Safety first, folks!

A massive shoutout to Michael, Fin, Archie, Jo, Jake, and Tom for crushing your courses this weekend! Now go out and explore the magical 70% of our planet that lies beneath the waves!
