Glide through the water with power and ease. The PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) course teaches you how to explore more of the underwater world in less time—and with less effort. Whether you’re cruising over reefs, weaving through a wreck, or just having fun, DPVs are a thrilling way to dive. What You’ll Learn: • How DPVs Work: Get to know the components, controls, and basic maintenance of diver propulsion vehicles. • DPV Dive Techniques: Learn how to manage speed, avoid rapid ascents, and control your position in the water while using a scooter. • Air Consumption and Buoyancy: Practice adapting your buoyancy and air usage when moving faster and covering more distance. • Handling Emergencies: Learn how to deal with common problems like runaway DPVs, entanglement, or gear malfunctions. Course Includes: • Hands-on training with a DPV • Open water dives using a DPV • Dive planning and safe handling practices • Equipment care and post-dive maintenance Prerequisites: • PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) • Minimum age: 12 years

Cancellation Policy
Pool spaces cost us money, so please read all of the below. Please make sure you have read the medical form BEFORE you book your sessions. If you answer "yes" to any of the questions, please get in touch with us before booking. If you answer "no" to all of the questions on the diver medical, you can use this link to complete your booking. Medical form: www.scubanow.org/medical Your booking is not secured until payment has been received and we have confirmed your session date or course start date. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred date, but if we need to change your requested date, we will give you as much notice as possible. If we cannot offer you your preferred date and we are not able to offer you an appropriate alternative date, we will refund you your money in full. Once your session or course is confirmed, to cancel or reschedule please contact us no later than 48 hours before the session is due to start. If you contact us less than 48 hours before the session, we reserve the right to still charge you the full price of the course. If you contact more than 48 hours before the session, we will reschedule to another available date or refund your payment in full (less the booking fee which is approximate 5% of the course or session cost). If you attend your session but you are not able to dive for reasons related to the questions on the medical form, we reserve the right to still charge you the full price for the course.
